This whip mount is designed specifically for the 2005 - 2008 Honda CRF450R dirt bikes.  This mount bolts up the the subframe where the exhaust bolts up to.  We designed this mount for those of you who want a whip mount that is out of the way and can be left on at all times if you want.   If you like our traditional seat bolt mounted Whip mount you can use that instead.  Either one will work for the 05-08 Honda CRF450.  There is no drilling or modification of the bike of any kind.  Just bolt it on and GO!   NOT For the CRF450X
